Anyone know anything about this Tell the Truth tour with Tom Morello? There are all these dates coming up. I want to go and see, but I'm kinda broke, and noone I know likes him! Time to recruit fans! (Like I have time)

I really want to go, but I know from past experience that I SOOOOO prefer seeing him in solo gigs to his gigs with the Blokes or with the Mermaid crew. I have White Stripes tix in Indy the night before (man, that makes my life sound so much more interesting than it actually is!), and I teach very early in the morning, so I want to be sure it's going to be worth it cus it's a 1.5 hour drive each way. -

They are all supposed to play solo sets, but how much Billy will I get for my $20 + Ticketmaster bullshit charges? I'd be psyched to see Tom Morello, but I don't know anything about the Nightwatchmen. Hmm. Gotta think about this... -

Can't say definitively, but in his latest newsletter, it was suggesting that the Bard of Barking will be revisiting some of his classic tracks, in recognition of the release of his greatest hits LP, "Must I Paint You A Picture".
At least that was to be the case for the European dates... -

Tue, October 28, 2003 - 11:20 PMYeah, no West Coast dates, which is a shame. I saw him play with The Blokes in the Maritime Hall in San Francisco not too long after "Mermaid Avenue" came out. Great show. The venue, sadly, is no more. -

Wed, October 29, 2003 - 5:14 AMI'm really bummed. I don't think I can go to the gig in Indy. I am getting back from the Tribe party in SF on Monday night, teach at 8am Tuesday morning, have tix for White Stripes in Indy (1 1/2 hour drive) that night. Billy Bragg would be Wednesday night, and I have to teach again at 8am Thursday morning. I SOOO want to go, but I fear I would fall asleep at the gig. :(
